Last week Peter Raszewski flew from London to Copenhagen to take part in Blend He and Casual Friday’s last Summer Sales Meetings. He was there for two days to go through both of the DK Company brand’s High Summer ’17 collections. The High Summer menswear collection is considered the last of the summer – the delivery of this collection takes places mainly during the month of May.
The day started off with a presentation of Blend with the CEO of the brand and the designer of the new collection. Faded and bleached hues can be found throughout the collection. Light yellow, orange and blue tones provide a special twist to the collection for the end of Summer ’17. Blend He’s key styles and core denim also have a strong presence. But everything has a relaxed, “SURF MOOD” feel. The whole collection has been developed with the desert and beach fashion in mind. The window selling campaign starts from the 3rd of October and ends at the end of the month.
As for Casual Friday, the high summer collection mostly features a yellow, blue and light grey palette. Inspired by a relaxing Nordic place, the collection continues to reflect minimal “Scandi” style with great fabrics. It is mainly focused on weightless fabrics such as linen or other materials to have a fresh and stylish summer. Great floral prints with leaves and the brand’s popular black stripes complete the styles found in the collection.
With these last collections from Casual Friday and Blend, both menswear brands are ending the spring/summer ’17 campaign. However, you can keep replenishing stock throughout the whole season with NOOS (Never out of Stock) and on the B2b sites from both of these DK Company brands.
