This June, the Parisian House of the pink bow tie will showcase its new Spring/Summer 2019 collection at the Pitti Uomo in Florence in the Central Pavilion – Ground Floor – Stand K15.
For this season, Eden Park successfully fuses its rugby-inspired style codes with the latest trends to create the unique Eden Park look. It’s the perfect reflection of French Flair: unexpected creative know-how and that certain je ne sais quoi that makes each piece the ideal blend of French tradition and the brand’s strong identity.
Sporting roots and Hawaiian floral
Two key themes run through the Spring/Summer 2019 collection. A sportswear theme that brings into play the brand’s sporting roots, and an urban look inspired by a vintage, Hawaiian floral theme. The first theme features polo shirts, sweatshirts and long-sleeved tops in tonal variations of blue, white and red, blue, white and pink and blue and sky-blue. There are also mini-capsule lines within this theme, including:
• The Collector: featuring three iconic rugby jerseys (Barbarian, African, and Racing), created with vintage House logos to highlight the link between Eden Park and its unique history.
• A World Cup capsule collection: showcasing three pieces—a polo shirt, a shirt and a jersey—and featuring three different counties: France; Japan, the host nation of the 2019 Rugby World Cup; and New Zealand, home to the Eden Park stadium.
The second theme visits city wear and features shirts, polo shirts and long-sleeved pieces in an exclusive floral print and faded colours—for a naturally vintage feel.
A Made in France capsule line also appears in this theme and includes a navy sweater set off by tone-on-tone jacquard stitching and a cable knit cricket-style sweater in ivory, white and red. This successful disruption of rugby and Premium style codes demonstrates the skilled craftsmanship of the House. Eden Park adeptly tailors its love for detail—which remains one of the brand’s core features—with a blend of playfulness, boldness and the offbeat—right down to the smallest feature.
Today the House is present in 34 countries, with close to 534 points of sale—and continues its development and growth in France and internationally.
